This is an example of Flash Fiction. What an interesting genre. Flash is a writing style in which you are challenged to write a complete story in under 1,000 words. They can be as few as five words. I have come to really appreciate it as a break from my normal. It is challenging, and for a sports chick that makes it more fun. If you need something to do while you're safe at home, you may want to research Flash and take on the challenge.
